Durable goods, GDP Q1, consumer sentiment index

World stocks hit record highs on Thursday and the dollar dipped after the U.S. Federal Reserve signaled caution in raising interest rates, while oil prices rose in anticipation of top producers agreeing to extend output cuts for up to a year. The Currency markets are fairly quiet this morning, without any major news out. Currently, the TSX is up 0.50% and the DOW is up 0.30%. EURCAD is up 0.14% trading between 1.5030 and 1.5114. GBPCAD is down 0.05% trading between 1.7359 and 1.7460. JPYCAD is down 0.15% trading between 0.01199 and 0.01202. Gold is down 0.25% trading between $1,254 and $1,259USD/oz., silver is up 0.21% trading between $17.16 and $17.26 USD/oz., while oil is 0.33% trading between $50.11 and $51.97.
