The dollar advanced with Treasury yields, while oil steadied. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average were little changed, while the Nasdaq Composite crawled back into positive territory. Miners and carmakers dropped in the Stoxx Europe 600. China will ask the World Trade Organization for permission to retaliate against the U.S. due to its failure to modify anti-dumping methodologies, the WTO said. In emerging markets, shares fell while a gauge of currencies erased earlier gains. U.S. two-year Treasury yields held close to a one-decade high in the run-up to an anticipated Federal Reserve interest-rate hike this month. Currently, the TSX is down 0.32% and the DOW is down 0.16%. EURCAD is down 0.05% trading between 1.5229 and 1.5292. GBPCAD is down 0.25% trading between 1.7061 and 1.7190.
